Grunduski Group was proud to support the 4th Annual Kids & Pros Locker Room Chat at the prestigious College Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta. Former Atlanta Falcons and College Football Greats, Buddy Curry and Bobby Butler, hosted the Kids & Pros Locker Room Chat, The QB Challenge, Fundraiser on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 to help raise funds to support new camps and clinics in the Southeast in 2016. Locker Room Chat attendees were treated to a special night of “behind the scenes” stories from Hometown Quarterbacks David Greene (UGA), Joe Hamilton (GA Tech), and Former Atlanta Falcons QB Dave Archer, with former UGA and Chicago Bears Kicker, Kevin Butler, serving as the evening’s emcee. Proceeds from the event benefitted Kids & Pros – a local non-profit organization launched in 2002 by former Atlanta Falcons Bobby Butler and Buddy Curry, to provide safe, non-contact football instruction for kids ages 7-13.
The night did not disappoint, as the panel of hometown heroes entertained the crowd with their humorous and crazy stories of colorful characters and individuals who filled their locker rooms and playing fields every day! Greene and Hamilton even got in a few friendly jabs to continue the in-state UGA/Ga Tech rivalry! Prior to the Chat, fans were able to mix and mingle with the panelist as well former football legends and outstanding athletes including former Atlanta Falcons Tommy Nobis, William Andrews, Cliff Austin, and Floyd Hodge and former LA Raider, Stefon Adams.
Along with the laughs, fans enjoyed plenty of hors d’oeuvres and adult beverages, and had the opportunity to participate in a silent auction featuring one-of-a kind auction packages, experiences, and sports memorabilia including: autographed jerseys from UGA Greats Todd Gurley and Herschel Walker, a Taylor Swift autographed guitar, a Chipper Jones autographed glove, tickets to see the Atlanta Hawks take on Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs, World of Coke, Georgia Aquarium, and Botanical Gardens tickets, and more! Proceeds from the auction benefitted Kids & Pros, Inc.
