The 17th Annual AAASP Wheelchair Handball State Championship, the fall sport for interscholastic play under the American Association of Adapted Sports Programs, is scheduled for next Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the J.P. Moseley Recreation Center in Stockbridge, GA.

Admission is free, and fans are invited to come out early to enjoy a full day of play (please see the game schedule below.) The event is being hosted by Henry County Schools in partnership with the Henry County Parks and Recreation Department. Henry County Schools Superintendent, Dr. Ethan Hildreth, will attend and present the championship trophies to the winning teams.

Teams qualifying to compete in the championship include: Varsity: Atlanta Wolfpack, Houston Sharks & West Georgia Wolverines; Junior Varsity: DeKalb Silver Streaks, Gwinnett Heat, Henry Hurricanes & Muscogee Lions. For more information, please visit www.adaptedsports.org.
